Mark Terry ’01 just celebrated his 10-year anniversary as a member of the Screen Actors Guild. He has acted in a scene with Ray Liotta (Goodfellas) and Rose Leslie (Game of Thrones) in a fi lm called Sticky Notes. He also directed, wrote, produced, and acted in the forthcoming fi lm Protocol: New Orleans. Nicole (Pacana) Wilson ’02 was promoted to assistant principal at Guardian Angels Catholic School in Clearwater, FL. Todd Henry ’03 enjoys living in Panama City, FL, with his wife, Kristen, and their three daughters. Tom Duff e ’09 was recently promoted to senior franchise licensing and conversion manager with the Red Lion Hotel Corporation. He currently focuses on lead generation, deal closing, franchise approval submission, and deal reporting to senior leaders in Red Lion Hotel Corporation. ’10s James A. Newborn ’13 has published his fi rst book, Blended into One, Our Family Story: God’s Infl uence in My Life. Ann Niermeyer ’13 recently became a foster mom to 16-year-old Jeneba from West Africa. Aisha Khawaja ’14 is now vice president, Card and Payment Services, for Delta Community Credit Union. Artigua Kilpatrick ’14 has published her fi rst book, Tony’s Bad Dream. Dawn Moninger ’14 is the California regional environmental, health, and safety manager for JD Heiskell & Co. Pam Willoughby ’14 participated in the third cohort of the Pasco County (FL) Schools/ National Education Program following her graduation and earned NEP’s International Leadership Fellow designation. In September 2015, she was hired as assistant principal at Pasco eSchool, the public virtual school for Pasco County. Reverend J. Derek Turrietta ’15 was ordained a Catholic deacon with the Diocese of Richmond and assigned as deacon with Blessed Sacrament Parish in Norfolk, VA. Have any big news? Margaurete Romero ’11 has earned her master’s degree in biology from the University of South Florida and has begun a doctoral program in ecology and evolutionary biology at the University of Tennessee. Carol Baier ’12 was recently honored as the 2016 Teacher of the Year for Hampton Elementary in Bradford County, FL. Dr. John Edward Mitchner ’12 graduated summa cum laude from the University of Science, Arts & Technology–Monserrat College of Medicine (West Indies), with a doctorate in medicine on June 11, 2016. Camara Silver ’12 graduated from the University of South Florida in summer 2015 with a master’s degree in cultural studies. He is in his second year as a PhD student in government and international aff airs while working as the graduate associate and instructor with the Upward Bound Program. Mari Swilley ’12 was recently honored as the 2016 Teacher of the Year for Brooker Elementary in Bradford County, FL. Lieutenant Todd Hand ’13 retired after 33 years of law enforcement service as the supervisor of Criminal Investigation. He has accepted an assistant professor position at Unity College in Belfast, ME.
