RememberWhen Highlights from Our Past Issues 25 YEARS AGO - January/February 1992 In an article on new restaurants, we highlighted Yellow Fin, which was opened by Dan Shouvlin, who currently is CEO of Frenchy’s Restaurants and Clear Sky Restaurants on Clearwater Beach and in Dunedin. Dan is now preparing to open an additional restaurant called Clear Sky on Cleveland in downtown Clearwater across from the Capitol Theatre. 10 YEARS AGO - January/February 2007 Margaret Word Burnside told the history of the historic Belleview Biltmore Resort in Belleair that now is being redeveloped as Belleview Place by JMC Properties. Although most of the building has been demolished, a portion of the building was saved and will be incorporated into a new inn on the property. JANUARY/FEBRUARY 2017 | TAMPA BAY MAGAZINE 97 Artist Don Maitz painted this portrait of the “Conte de Money.” This 1920s Harbor Oaks home in Clearwater was owned in 1992 by world famous race car driver Nigel Mansell.
