Classy Chefs hat do chefs do in their down time? When perfection is the name of their game, there really is no down time. Making sure each and every meal is cooked to your delight and served to you with the intent in which it was created is all an hour’s affair. After all, cooking fabulous cuisine is not as easy—although professional chefs sure make it look like it is! Much to our delight, a few of these talented chefs recently took the time to teach others their skills and give back to our community at the Naples Foodie Camp. Every year, the Naples Foodie Camp allows local residents to be trained and gain insight from some of the best chefs in town. This is no ordinary camp; students enjoy wine, laughter and the company of their new foodie friends. The chefs share some of their best recipes as well as their state-of-theart techniques. Whether it was a date night, a ladies’ night out or just curious foodies wanting to learn, students loved the opportunity to become a better cook with the help of some of the best in the business.
