STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS STEP D After the top of your fabric is tacked down, place a piece of batting over the tack down stitch lines. TIP STEP E Make sure the batting does not venture into the open space of your excess fabric. In the next step, the machine will tack down the batting in an upside-down 'U' shape. STEP F At this point, you will need to gently fold the excess fabric upward to create the flap. When folding your fabric, do not pull the fabric too tightly. It will cause your design to buckle.
