Turkey Burgers with a Twist Turkey Burger Ingredients • ¼ cup chopped green onions • 2 tbs fresh orange juice • 1 tbs low-sodium soy sauce • 1 tsp finely chopped and peeled fresh ginger • 1 garlic clove, minced • 1 pound ground turkey breast • cooking spray • 4 (1½-ounce) whole wheat hamburger buns • 4 lettuce leaves Sauce Ingredients • ¾ cup reduced-fat mayonnaise • 1½ tbs finely chopped green onions • 2 tbs Dijon mustard • 1 tbs honey • 1 tsp fresh orange juice • 1 tsp low-sodium soy sauce • ½ tsp finely chopped and peeled fresh ginger Directions: Prepare your grill. Combine the first six ingredients in a large bowl. Divide the turkey mixture into four equal portions, shaping each into a ¾-inch-thick patty. Place the patties on the grill rack coated with cooking spray. Grill six minutes on each side or until done. Combine all of the sauce ingredients in a medium bowl. Spread two tablespoons of sauce over top half of each bun. Assemble the burger with lettuce, patty, and bun.
