We will plant hardy, easy-to-grow sunflowers. These colorful little beads can be arranged in tons of shapes and patterns. Perler beads are very small and require some fine motor skills to arrange. This program is recommended for ages 6 and up. • Tue., July 11, 2-4 p.m. Library: Youth Library Wonders of Nature Wonders of Nature will bring their traveling wildlife show to demonstrate the amazing behaviors of raptors, parrots, flying squirrels and more. • Wed., July 12 • 2-3 p.m. Library Jeopardy Join us for the library version of the hit game show, Jeopardy. • Thu., July 13, 2-3 p.m. DIY Kinetic Sand Explore the science behind kinetic sand, create cool structures and enjoy playing with this cool non-Newtonian substance. Take your kinetic sand home with you. • Tue., July 18, 2-3 p.m. Didgeridoo Down Under This high-energy, Australian-themed show features the didgeridoo. • Wed., July 19, 2-3 p.m. Scavenger Hunt How well do you know your library? Our library scavenger hunt is an activity that requires you to discover resources in the library and use them to answer simple questions. Get the questions right to earn a prize. • Thu., July 20, 2-3 p.m. Recycled T-Shirt Bag Give new life to that old T-shirt sitting in the bottom of your drawer by transforming it into a reusable cloth bag. The library will provide all supplies, but feel free to bring a shirt from home if you'd like. • Tue., July 25, 2-3 p.m. Fun with Ronald McDonald Ronald McDonald will perform interactive skits, music and of course will provide plenty of laughter. • Wed., July 26, 2-2:45 p.m. Build a Better Sundae Celebration Help us celebrate the end of summer with an ice cream social. • Thu., July 27, 2-3 p.m.
