STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS STEP V Run the final step which will tack the twine and back fabric to the rest of the design. Since these designs are freestanding, you can match your bobbin with your thread in this step so that there won't be a discolored bobbin on the back of your design. TIP STEP W Remove from hoop and discard all excess Tear-Away Stabilizer. Trim a 1" seam allowance around the entire design. When trimming, be sure not to trim your twine! STEP X Taking a ruler and a fabric marker, measure a ¹/₂" seam allowance along the 5¹/₂" x 5¹/₂" base fabric.
