LAPTOP CASE G H You are now ready to attach all the layers together. Place your front fabric (with attached fiberfill) right-side down, followed by your lining fabric, adhesive side down. I J Repeat steps D-H to combine the layers of section B (back panel) and section C (box band). K L This is an example of all three sections trimmed to size. Place to side. Press and hold iron 6 seconds on each section until all 5 layers are bonded together. Additional heat may be require to evenly compress all layers. Using a ruler and rotary cutter, trim section A & B to 10” x 14”. Be sure your design is centered on front panel before trimming. Trim section C to 2” x 33”. You are now ready to prepare your zipper. Place your zipper, teeth facing up, evenly centered on top of 2 pieces of No- Show Mesh stabilizer (4” x 24”) as shown on the left side. The stabilizer is attached to zipper in order to create the seam allowance of the box band section (shown on right side).
