your case Stitching M N Using a sewing machine, straight stitch 1/4” from edge of zipper tape on both sides. O P Now you will attach the top of the zipper to one end of the box band section. Be sure the teeth of zipper are face down with the front fabric facing up. Using a zipper foot, stitch as close as possible to the head of the zipper. Q R Continue to wrap the box band around the remaining perimeter of front section as shown. Clip or pin in place 5.0” from top right corner. Be sure to secure box band in place with extra pins or clips. This will leave you with a 3.0” opening. Using a ruler and rotary cutter, trim the excess stabilizer to 3/8” on each side. Next, open up the box band section. Place the stitch line made in step “O” 3.5” from the top left-hand corner. The zipper side will then wrap around the top and right corner of front section as shown. Clip or pin in place 2.0” down from top right corner. Be sure to open your zipper at least 6”. Starting 5.0” down from top right corner, straight stitch along the entire case using a 1/2” seam allowance. Be sure to stop 2.0” down from same corner where box band is clipped.
