ICONOLOGY To show you what techniques appear in a collection, we came up with 15 different icons that represent 15 different embroidery techniques. The icons which are highlighted on the back of the packaging denote the techniques used in this particular collection. The other icons are faded, indicating that those techniques are not used, as in the example below: STANDARD EMBROIDERY E A Standard Embroidery Appliqué Patch Three Dimensional P 3D QUILTING Free Motion FM Q TS T FF C LS Quilting Tile Scene Trapunto Folded Fabric Confetti Landscape Printed Fabric Ragged Edge PROJECTS & IN THE HOOP FS Free Standing Z Zipper HEIRLOOM CW L Lace Cutwork HS SW Hand Stitched Shadow Work EXPLORE THE CD There are 4 main folders on the CD-ROM ― the catalog, design files, resizable designs, and tutorials. These folders are full of important information. Here is a list of what’s in each folder: ABOUT US The About Us Booklet contains everything you need to know about Anita Goodesign, our products, and educational programs. We also included tips on choosing colors, stabilizers, fabric charts, and a whole tutorial on how to finish your quilt. DESIGNS All of the designs from the collection are in this folder. Once you open the designs folder you will see folders for all the different machine types. TUTORIALS The Tutorial folder is jam packed with information. Each collection has a specific tutorial that demonstrates all the techniques and projects that go with the collection. Our tutorials are unique in the fact that they consist of mostly photographs to guide you through the project step-by-step. On some collections, we also give you additional information like scans of the fabric we used, quilt patterns, home décor patterns, and much more!
