ALL ACCESS | EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT Q&A With Chris What is a typical day for you? My day consists of working with dealers all over the world in order to create a great experience for our Anita Goodesign customers. This is done by educating dealers on new products and programs we are rolling out at AGD. I also work directly with customers through our website. It could be as simple as resetting a password or speaking States hosting our popular Embroidery Parties. How did you get involved with Anita Goodesign? I met Steve and Aundrea Wilson years before I started working at Anita Goodesign. When they told me what they did for a living, it went right over my head. I was unaware the home embroidery industry even existed. Then, I was presented with an opportunity to travel all over the map and that really appealed to me. At the time, I was working as a general manager of a wine bar and looking for a change in my career. That was over two years ago and I haven’t looked back since! What is your favorite collection? My favorite collection is Pledge of Allegiance. It’s a very sharp looking design and I think the digitizing for the eagle is awesome. What do you enjoy doing in your spare time? I enjoy playing guitar. That being said, I have the start of a good 18 anitagoodesignonline.com guitar collection that I am constantly working on. During the also enjoy working on home projects. What did you want to be growing up? Top Gun was released in 1986 and after seeing that I was completely hooked. I became a pilot, but never What is your favorite aspect of your job? My favorite part of my job is getting to travel all over the United States. I have had the opportunity to see some really cool places. What is your most memorable experience working at Anita Goodesign? The memory that sticks out the most, is the time I came home from an embroidery show and the hotel I was staying at called our Events Obviously, our Events department was quite curious as to why I Needless to say, I do not own a teddy bear, but we got a good laugh out of it. Some still do... If you could design the next collection, what would it be? I would choose to create a collection based on realistic sports themed designs. I know that many of our customers would really enjoy being grandkids, friends, spouses, and even themselves!
