CREATING ANIMAL SIDE DESIGNS G H Continue on with the remaining embroidery steps of each design. The next machine step will be your tack down stitch for the appliqué fabric. Note: Trimming is not needed with designs only using one appliqué fabric. CREATING FEET DESIGN A B Place a piece of batting over top all 4 placement stitches. Step 2 will tack the batting in place. Trim away the excess batting from each individual placement stitch. You are now ready to stitch out the feet of your Animal Bag. All 4 feet are stitched in one hooping. Hoop a piece of No-Show Mesh Stabilizer and stitch step 1 of the design. This is the placement stitch for your batting. Note: placement stitch includes letters labeling the left and right feet. ANIMAL BAGS | Project Collection | 222 I Once complete, remove the design from your embroidery hoop. Using a rotary blade and ruler, trim your design using a 1/2” seam allowance. J This is an example of a finished design. Stitch out the corresponding side design and the “Bottom” design.
