SEWING ANIMAL BAG TOGETHER SIDE LINING #1 You will need three lining pieces for the animal bag. Use the templates on page 5 to cut your lining fabric. E F ANIMAL BAGS | Project Collection | 224 SIDE LINING #2 BOTTOM LINING SIDE LINING #1 BOTTOM LINING A SIDE LINING #1 BOTTOM LINING C B SIDE LINING #1 BOTTOM LINING A B C D With right sides together, align the bottom edge of the bottom lining with the bottom edge of side lining #1 as shown. Insert a pin at point B as shown. Pull and stretch your bottom lining fabric to meet side lining #1 fabric at point A and C. To start assembling your animal bag, gather your materials. You will need designs 1, 2, & 3 for the entire animal bag. We recommend using at least a standard 12” zipper. Choose a color to coordinate with the fabrics of your designs. The animal bag is fully lined and the next few steps will show you how to cut your lining pieces This is what the two pieces should look like when sewn together. You are now ready to attach side lining #2. Starting at point A, straight stitch with a 1/2” seam allowance along the edge of your lining fabrics through point B and stopping at point C. Note: gently stretch bottom lining fabric as you go to keep fabrics aligned.
