TUTORIAL ICONS We are excited to present you with our new tutorial icons. These icons will appear throughout the tutorial to give you important tips and help you avoid mistakes and pitfalls. The four icons and their definitions appear below. TIP NOTIONS TIP STABILIZER TIP This icon will demonstrate basic tips on how to make your design even better. If a particular notion, tool, or foot will make your project easier to create, we will let you know by using this icon. Picking the right type of stabilizer is crucial to creating a great embroidery design. Look for this icon for tips. This icon will let you avoid common mistakes that people make when creating this project by giving you a tip on how to avoid it. COLLECTION ICONOLOGY To show you what techniques appear in a collection, we came up with 19 different icons that represent 19 different embroidery techniques. The icons which are highlighted on the back of the packaging denote the techniques used in this particular collection.
