APPLIQUÉ STARS Lay your fabric along the placement stitch, overlapping by about an ¹/₈". Since these folds are very angled, you'll need to ensure that your fabric is large enough that it covers your entire placement stitch when folded. The next machine step will provide you with your folding line. Fold your fabric tightly over the placement stitches.
