STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS Y Z Fold the binding over the raw edges of the quilt to the quilt back. Fold the raw edge of the binding in to meet the raw edge of the quilt, about 5⁄8”. Pin the fold in place just beyond the stitching line. Use a walking foot to carefully stitch in the ditch from the top side. AA BB Open the seam and fold one side half way in to the pressed seam line. To join the beginning and end, simply overlap the end with the beginning by about 2”. This edge will finish itself once you wrap the binding back. Next, we will make the handles for your blanket wrap. You will need two 6” x 44” strips. Take each strip and fold it in half.
