Primary Care West Polk Feature TRINITY MEDICAL GROUP Father and Son Doctors Create a “Medical Home” for Patients Home — it’s a beautiful word imbued with comfort and care. It’s where people truly know us and have sincere concern and regard for us. It’s where we are listened to and respected. It is NOT a word generally used to describe a clinic — unless you are talking about Trinity Medical Group. Trinity establishes lasting relationships with patients by carefully listening to their concerns, taking time to make keen observations, empowering patients while treating them. This old-fashioned care is combined with stateof the-art knowledge and technology. Trinity doctors have a healthy appreciation for proven strategies while exploring new techniques that may prove more effective. The approach is holistic — meaning not merely having an open mind about alternative remedies, but acknowledging the interconnections of the body’s systems and the need to address a patient’s entire health rather than one body part or issue. The heart of the patient-centered approach at Trinity is the father-son team of Dane Parker, DC, FNP-C and Adam Parker, DO. It is their stated mission to provide a “medical home” where all members of your family will feel comfortable and where they will receive the best patient care. Dr. Dane Parker has been a pillar of the Lakeland medical community for decades. Trained as a chiropractor, Dr. Dane founded the Lakeland Spine Center. He passed on his passion for excellent patient care to his eldest son, Adam, and it was his son’s reciprocal enthusiasm for medicine that inspired Dr. Dane to obtain additional training for himself, be- Medicine. In 1998, he partnered with Dr. - cian he trusted to treat his own children, to open Pediatric Partners in Winter Haven. It has become an “extension of the family” for thousands, providing the highest specialized care for children birth through adolescence. Dr. Dane then opened Nite Owl emphasizing pediatric urgent care. That clinic morphed into Owl Now Urgent Care, an urgent care facility for both adults and children.
