ASSEMBLING HOOP CLOCK G H Your hoop clock should look like this up to this point. I J Depending on which type of clock kit you choose, instructions may vary. Be sure to carefully follow the instructions specific to the clock kit you purchased. Most clock kits are battery operated, so be sure to purchase the required size for yours. Once the clock kit is in place, you are finished with your readyto hang hoop clock! Using a hot glue gun, apply a thin layer of glue to the inside rim of the wooden hoop. Then, double fold the excess fabric toward the inside of the hoop and secure in place. This will give your clock a clean finished look. The last step is placing the clock movement and hands into your project. Clock kits can be purchased at your local craft store. They are available in a wide variety and styles. Be sure to purchase a small, light weight clock kit to eliminate the design from pulling. HOOP CLOCKS | Projects Collection | 81
