CREATING YOUR BLOCK A B Place a piece of batting over the top of the squaring stitches. Be sure to completely cover all sides. C D Trim the excess batting as close to the tack down stitches as possible. E F Lay a piece of fleece (bottom) and base fabric (top) at the same time over the top of the batting, completely covering all sides. Make sure the fleece is larger than the base fabric by 1”. To start, hoop a piece of no-show mesh stabilizer and stitch step 1 of the design. This is the squaring stitch. Step 2 of the design will tack the batting in place.
