TRIVET Recipe A. B. 144 D. Lay your quilt block on top of your coordinating back fabric. Cut your back fabric so that it extends 1½" beyond the quilt block on all sides. C. Using a ruler or Mitred-Binding Tool, draw a 45 degree diagonal line along each corner. The line should just touch the corner point. E. Stitch along this line, stopping once you reach the middle of your fold line. We backstitched at the beginning and end to secure the stitches. Your stitched corner should look like this. Notice we did not stitch all the way to the edge, just to fold line. Place backing your fabric on your cutting table face down. Then place your insul-bright and quilt block on top facing up. Make sure there is an even 1½" of the backing fabric extending around each side. Fold the corner back on itself, right-sides together. Place a pin parallel to the edge along the fold line. F. Trim to ¼" and clip the corner. Repeat these steps for the remaining 3 corners.
