WAIST APRON Recipe A. B. 164 To begin, you will start with the pockets. Arrange your 3 design blocks in the order you prefer. D. Let's make an apron! Reference the ingredient list on the previous page and gather all the materials you will need to complete this project. C. Once you have decided on your arrangement, sew the blocks together. Align the blocks, matching up tacking stitch lines, and sew with a ½" seam allowance. E. Your design blocks should look something like this, depending on designs and arrangement you chose. Press the seams open. F. Next, line your pockets with your pocket lining fabric (22" x 11"). Using the stitched blocks, lay your lining fabric right-side up and your pockets right-side down. We used yellow pattern weights to hold the layers together while we cut.
