�������������������������������� steps STITCHING VOTIVE DESIGNS �� �� To start, hoop a piece of No-Show Mesh stabilizer and stitch step 1 of the design. This is the placement stitch showing you where to place your base fabric. �� �� Step 2 will be the tack down stitch, securing your base fabric to the stabilizer. �� �� Place your appliqué fabric over the placement stitches, making sure to cover all sides. Tape in place if needed. Place your base fabric over the placement stitches. Be sure to completely cover all four sides, leaving 1/2” extending past your placement stitches for your seam allowance. Step 3 of the design will be the free motion background stitches. Then, run step 4 which is the placement stitch for your first piece of appliqué. Next, run the tack down stitch for your appliqué fabric. This will secure the appliqué fabric in place. ������������������������������������ | ������������������������������������������|����84
