Again, completely cover the stiffener and overlap the top portion of the design by at least 1”. Once again, trim away the excess fabric from the tack down stitches, while being sure to leave the top 1” of excess fabric untrimmed. Since this is a freestanding project and you will be able to see the bobbin on your design, we match our bobbin thread to our top thread so that we can conceal those bobbin stitches.
