much much fun fun. Unfortunately Unfortunately I I had had to to bug bug out out early early Sunday Sunday morning morning for for a a funeral funeral in South Carolina on Monday. I was able to see some family I don’t often get to see though and was reminded to try and make time for those you love and enjoy the time you spend in life to the fullest! Next stop 4x4 Proving Grounds for the mid-summer bash! I always have so much fun at this place. This one held up to that standard and then some! My buddies Ricky B. Wilson and Josh Lockett were up for the Throttle King portion of the event and so was Mega truck legend Jimmy Rigged. The event and cool people. Again, don’t get me wrong, a ton of work is done at these events, I do most of the announcing, (I pawned some off on Ricky) prep work such as fencing, a little security when needed and oversee the track crew and schedule. I love it, I live it, I wouldn’t want it any other way! As much as I myself hanging around with the most. Like my little buddy the trash panda. I’ll leave you off with my Monday adventure, again I talked my friends out of work and hanging with me instead. This time off to the lake where we met back up with Jimmy Rigged aka Yeager bomb to do some waterskiing and boating. Cowboy Pete and Gingy ( Jason Haber) Jimmy and myself all hit the water on our annual “footin’” trip. Jimmy and I both grew up on the water and are fairly descent skiers for a couple old guys. We took our turns and then taught Pete to barefoot waterski as well. Jason however, didn’t fair as well but we did go back and get his bathing suit which blew off when he was being dragged by the boat. I seriously haven’t laughed that hard in years and he was in typical fashion a great sport about it. Yes the picture is on the internet. Well that’s all for this edition, next time I’ll catch you up on my trip to Max Power Park, the local Fair gig, Melabec mud park, Barnyard TGW, the Hillclimbs, Oxford Mud runs and all the adventure along the way and in between. Until then folks be safe, party responsibly and get out there and Support the Sport! 25
