Beginner Novice through advanced divisions will compete. Olympian Boyd Martin will be leading the cross-country course walk, which is open to the public and benefits the Cumbee Center. The tour begins with watching horses out on the track for their morning training before going back to Legacy Stable. You will be close to the horses, trainers and exercise riders, so bring your camera! After watching the horses train, Brad Stauffer, Head Trainer of Legacy Stable, will talk about the equipment used in training, the diet of a racehorse, conformation, the composition of the track and more.
