1:1 Program with iPads In 2017-18, Jesuit enters the fourth year of its 1:1 Program with the Apple iPad. The first three years were extremely successful, as faculty and students have embraced the iPad as a powerful tool for enhancing student learning. Since 2014, teachers have adopted innovative instructional methods that engage students in ways never before possible, and students fully manage their academic tasks -- such as note taking, studying, composing papers, and preparing presentations -- using the iPad. They are accomplishing these tasks in multimedia-rich manners more than before. Collaboration among students and teachers has increased as the iPad and related tools have made it easy to share ideas in real-time. More than 90% of textbooks are now digital. Every student at Jesuit High School is equipped with a school-owned Apple iPad. This device is designed to help improve learning and develop the 21st century skills vital to his future success. In short, the use of iPads and other new technologies assists our teachers in providing the rigorous and personal education that is a hallmark of Jesuit pedagogy.
