Make Your Own Buttons! Homemade buttons are fun and easy. There are 22 different button designs in several different themes. The designs are quick and can be finished using a button making kit. These buttons will look great everywhere. Use them to bring life to a jacket, a sweater, or even a hat! Be creative and see what you can come up with! We also included 12 great designs that incorporate the buttons. Add a “blueberry” button to your lemonade, or carefully drop some “egg” buttons in the bird’s nest. These designs would look great on pillows, totes, or even framed on a wall! When choosing your threads and fabric for the buttons, make sure they fit in with the base design. Let’s bust out of our cotton rut and consider all fabrics as options! What pillow is going to look best on your couch or bed? Fashion fabrics? Maybe denim? Or perhaps it is a cotton?
