Thank you!” All this over a book. But not just any book. A free book. A free book that the boy selected for himself from thousands of titles shelved not in a bookstore or library. �������� ���������� ������ ���� ���������������������������������� ������������������ at all. This boy had the remarkable experience of selecting a book from a �������������������������������������������������������������������������������������� Kiwanis Book Bus, operated by Manatee Sunrise Kiwanis. The idea stemmed from Kiwanis members who themselves love to read and dreamed of sharing this love with children in Manatee ���������������������������������������������������������������������������������� imagine that there are boys and girls in our neighborhoods who may not own a book of their own. At home, for various reasons, books may not be available to these young minds. The Kiwanis Book Bus and the volunteers who run it are setting out, literally, to change that. ���������������� ������������ ���������� �������� ������ ���������������� ������������ ������ this project is truly a labor of love for �������������������������������������������������������������������������������� Place Two in Palmetto. Upon making the decision to create a mobile book service, the group sought to purchase an existing vehicle and lucked into one for sale near Chicago. The tale of the trip to Chicago by Mark �������������������������� ���������������� ���������������� ������������������ Treasurer, was one of serendipitous connections. Mark and his wife Joan, the current President of the club, were already planning a trip to Chicago to help their son and his wife relocate to Winter Garden.
