Daugharty / Hester Buildings Come to the Hester Building, the long metal building way out near the big ferris wheel, that houses a wonderland of art, photography, crafts, baked good and confectionery arts. The Baked Goods, made up of pies, cakes, cookies, breads, and candies represent the finest recipes done by bakers from all over the county. The Confectionery Arts which will rival anything seen on TV will include wedding cakes, decorated cakes, gingerbread houses, and much more. Several Volusia County Schools have many students entering delicious culinary delights plus beautiful sugar art. It is the “sweetest” place at the fair.
