In addition to many other accolades, his
first three schools received Reward status
in 2015. He has been the primary leader
in the building and renovation of four
campuses. He is currently leading in the
$14,000,000.00 project of the Frayser
Plaza, future home of the state-of-the-art
Memphis STEM Academy - birthed from
the Memphis Business Academy (MBA)
Network of schools. “We opened our
doors to kindergarten and first grade
Scholars in August of 2016 and we strive
to go beyond the traditional method of
eaching by integrating project-based and
problem-solving learning that allow our
Scholars to explore the engineering
process and develop our Scholars for
future needs in all careers”, exclaims
Anderson.
The Memphis STEM Academy Scholars
design, construct, and build real-world
projects out of recycled goods and resources
provided from the Project Lead the
Way and Engineering is Elementary,
Scratch Junior and LEGO curricula.
The Memphis STEM Academy, is
dedicated to providing students with
an A+ education with an emphasis on
Science, Technology, Engineering
and Math within the Frayser
area.
Reverend Anderson continues to
work with residents in the north
Memphis area for political and
economic development purposes.
Presently, he works with several
groups who are leading the way in
over $40,000,000.00 of development
in Frayser alone and his efforts now
stretch to the Hickory Hill community.
Anthony still believes that education is
a primary gateway to new opportunities
and positive connections.
