STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS STEP P Fold the binding over the raw edges to the back, 5/8". Pin the fold in place just beyond the stitching line. Pin the binding to the back all the way around the pot holder, making the mitered corners neat as you go. STEP Q First, make sure your bobbin matches your thread. Using a walking foot, carefully top stitch 1/8" from the seam edge. Remove the pins from the back as you stitch a few inches at a time. STEP R Once you get to where the end and beginning meet, taper off the end and continue to sew the binding together for an additional 5" to create the tab.
