Enjoy the fall while the water is still warm. Quiet beaches welcome you as you watch the waves crash and seagulls laugh. September ������������������������������������������������������������������ Winter storms will pound the beaches soon. Rough surf, wind and rain batter the dunes dragging sand back to the ocean. The ocean will try to flatten the dunes and leave our island homes unprotected. �������������������������������������������������������������������������������� beaches and high dunes will protect us from the harsh winter.
