Ms...Alain...eous From the EDITOR I am so excited about October’s edition! Growing up we always played board games after dinner with the family. Clue was our favorite. My personal character was always Ms. Scarlett (she seemed so naughty); weapon of choice was the lead pipe and it was always in the Library. So many fond memories of family playing a silly game. So, I had an epiphany with the entire help of the Tybee Arts Association (TAA). On October 21st they are having a ONE NIGHT only play of CLUE! Love it!! (See page 8 for additional information). I am all over that and why can’t the Beachcomber participate in its own game?? This edition involves a terrific tale of Eric Thomas (Huc-A-Poos) being murdered by a local. Throughout the edition you will see different clues that will help you figure out the murderer or murderess. Read the story on page 14 and let’s go have some fun! Get your answers in to info@tybeebeachcomber.com by November 8th. A person not involved will draw from the list of people who correctly identify WHO? WHAT? WHERE? The winner will receive several gift certificates from SUSPECTS and area businesses. This is good fun! With all that going on did I forget to mention Pirates Fest and Halloween?? We’ve got all sorts of information on this year’s events in the following pages! It is going to be a busy month. Argh!! Grab your cutlass and your zombie face and get out and about. Tybee is the place to be! This month’s Traveling Beachcomber has brought some fantastic pictures in from all over the planet. We love every entry!! However, please understand how hard it is for us to pick and we can’t get A-J’s for everyone (as much as we would hugely love to do that). This month’s winner is Becca Cook in Central America with the Mayan Indians. Call me!! Its conch fritter freak looking for more! So GO! READ and find you some clues...
