“BEST OF THE BEST” CONVERTIBLES (FROM THE SAME COLLECTION) 1954 MERCURY MONTCLAIR CONVERTIBLE This car was purchased in California in 1997 with no motor or transmission and went thru a 4 1/2 year body off restoration. One 4” by 14” piece was put in the lower left quarter panel behind the wheel but no other rust was found when the undercoating was removed. All the floor braces, floor pans and tail pan were great. The motor and transmission were rebuilt. Options include power steering, power brakes, power windows and power seat. There is some paperwork with the car. Underside of the car is as it should be. 1956 FORD FAIRLANE This convertible had a full frame off restoration to AACA standards in 2008 and is equipped with a 292 V8 engine and automatic transmission. It was refinished in the original Raven Black color with a new red and white ABC interior and a new black soft top. All the chrome and stainless was replaced or polished by buffing to look as new. Options include bumper guards, Continental Kit, dual factory spot lights, fender skirts, rocker panel moldings, full wire wheel covers and new white radial tires. This is a real beauty to ride and drive. 15
