The South Carolina Peach Festival Each July, at the height of the peach season, the City of Gaffney hosts the state Peach Festival. The wide range of activities includes a parade, a pageant, a golf tournament, an arts and crafts fair, a car show, a road race, a barbecue cook-off, a talent show, a peach dessert contest, a dog show, a peach-eating contest, a mud bog, wrestling, and stage entertainment.
