Jr St N St. Petersburg, FL 33704 727-896-3700 Mon. – Sat. 10am to 6pm The Paper Street Market The book selection at Wilson’s Book World is exactly what you’d hoped to find at your local bookstore. It’s extensive. It’s separated by distinct genres and alphabetized, which makes hunting down a book pretty easy. Wilson’s offers everything a book lover could want, from mystery and fantasy novels to comics and reference books. (My personal favorite was the tiny bookcase dedicated to folklore and myth I found in a dim side room.) The decoration at Wilson’s Book World is both curious and delightful–ceramic animal statues, landscape paintings, a Freddy Krueger cutout and a wooden figurehead looming over an entryway. But possibly the best part about Wilson’s is the price of a book. To tell you the truth, you’d probably pay more for shipping on Amazon. Wilson’s slogan hits the nail on the head, a Latin phrase–OB LECTIO AMORE, which means “for the love of reading.”
