STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS STEP M Trim the ends of the first and second folded fabric strips once they are tacked down so that it does not add excess fabric to your seam allowance. Repeat steps H-L for any remaining folded fabric borders. STEP N This is what your free motion diamond block will look like when your machine steps are complete. STEP O Trim the sides of your diamond block, leaving 1⁄2" of seam allowance for connecting your quilt blocks together.
