It’s quite simple: They love what they do, and they love sharing it with their fans. “When you can say, ‘This is where we are, and this is what we love,’ that’s when you have your best shows and your best music, because you finally found yourself and you’re fine with it,” Denise explains. “You’re relaxed, and you’re honest.” But make no mistake: “Relaxed” does not mean complacent: Shelley, Denise and Leigh are as excited to put out their latest album as they were when they released their self- titled debut in 1993. And they’re ready to share their hard work with the world. “The longest part of the recording process is just finding the songs,” recalls Shelley. “We scour the landscape of Nashville to find the greatest songs.
