Summer Camps/Summer Training Opportunities Summer Fun Guide Summer Programs 3 Golf Camp Chi Chi Rodriguez Golf Club Half-Day Golf Camp The Chi Chi Rodriguez Golf Club’s The First Tee of Clearwater curriculum teaches all the skills necessary to play the game of golf and nine core values (honesty, integrity, sportsmanship, respect, confidence, responsibility, perseverance, courtesy and judgment). Golf equipment is available to all participants. Hoffman School of the Arts at Ruth Eckerd Hall summer camps help children explore their talents, discover new friends and learn from professional arts instructors onstage at Ruth Eckerd Hall. Camps kick off June 5 and are enrolling now. Performing arts camps in dance, drama, stage combat, technical theater and musical theater are available for ages 5-18 of all experience levels. This year’s summer finale will feature students in the classic musical Bye, Bye Birdie at the Capitol Theatre in downtown Clearwater. “Summers at the Marcia P. Tuition assistance is available to those who qualify. Summer Training Opportunities Junior Lifeguard Course (ages 10-15) Participants must be strong swimmers to participate in this program. Youth will swim 25 yards non-stop front crawl, one minute treading water and swim underwater for 10 feet. Upon successful completion of the course, the participant will be certified in American Red Cross Junior Lifeguarding.
