STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS G H Repeat steps E-G for remaining appliqué fabrics of specific design. All quilt blocks in this collection are created using a combination of multiple appliqué fabrics and embroidery stitches. Be sure to follow design steps for each one. I J This is an example of what a finished quilt block should look like. Using sharp scissors, trim away the excess fabric as close as possible to the tack down stitches. Do not trim appliqué fabric away from outside of quilt block design. Be sure to leave at least a 1⁄2” seam allowance on all four sides. Once all of the remaining steps are complete, remove the finished quilt block and stabilizer from the hoop. Using a rotary cutter and ruler, trim your quilt block using a 1⁄2” seam allowance.
