JUNE 2017 PROJECT 52 Choosing the correct fabrics will make the designs pop! CHOOSING FABRICS Choosing colors for these designs is easy, just keep in mind your color palette and choosing a grouping of fabrics that all go together. We recommend finding inspiration. For this collection we wanted to find an Americana-style color palette, so we simply did some searching on the internet and found similarly colored fabrics! Once you found your inspiration and the fabric is chosen, you will then choose your threads to go along with the fabrics. If all of the fabrics and thread colors go together, then no matter what you embroider, the designs will look great. The example shown here provides you with fabrics that work well together.
