Step 6 will be a tack down stitch for your appliqué fabric. Trim away the excess appliqué fabric from the design. Once the embroidery steps are complete, remove the design from the hoop. Using a ruler and rotary cutter, trim the design leaving 1/2” for seam allowance. K L For this project, you will need fabric for the back (9” x 26”), To start, place the two stitch outs face-up, end-to-end. binding (2.5” x 44” - two), and handles (6” x 44” - two).
