www.leechamber.org 7 Restore Yourself in Lee It’s a short drive to hear the world’s greatest music on the lawn or in “The Shed” at Tanglewood. World-class dance at Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival is a few miles in the opposite direction. The Norman Rockwell Museum, Clark Art, MASS MoCA, the Berkshire Theater Festival, Edith Wharton’s “The Mount,” Naumkeag, Chesterwood, and the Museum of the Gilded Age are all close by. Lee is the shopping capital of the Berkshires. Our downtown business district provides services, food, and an eclectic collection of stores. Lee Premium Outlets, a mile east on US Route 20, houses 60 stores that feature name-brand designer merchandise at discount prices. Outdoor activities abound in our area. There are inviting forests and hiking woodlands, pristine lakes for swimming and boating, and scenic drives if you prefer to simply enjoy the views. A hard-working town that retains elements of the paper and marble industries that built it, Lee is the kind of place our neighbor Norman Rockwell loved to paint. It has never stopped being that friendly, lovable place while building the resources to host thousands of visitors and second homeowners every year. We invite you to come to the Berkshires and see why so many return home regularly to regain their sense of well-being. Stop at our Visitors Center in Downtown Lee
