Meet the Owner When Tracy Kelley was a little girl, she wanted to do two things: teach, and run a home for foster children. Those desires to educate and help people in vulnerable situations per- ������������������������������������������������������������ in the six Comfort Keeper franchises she owns. With the start of her own family and after the births of her three children, she went looking for a business into which she could pour her energy and passion for people. She found a company that matched her desire. Comfort Keepers, known as “the company with heart,” ���������������������������������� �������������������� ���������� ���� ������������������ ������������ ������ ������������ Lakeland, Tracy has held every position in her Comfort Keepers franchise from handson caregiver, which she found to be the most rewarding, to logistics-scheduling care coordinator to supervisory and planning advisor. She has even done the accounting, a task she was loathe to relinquish given her wish to ensure �������������������� ������������������ ������������������ ���������������������� ���������� clients can understand and trust. Tracy’s sincerity and enthusiasm for families faced with physical and mental challenges is evident and radiates with conviction that her staff can attest, putting everyone at ease and making for a better life for all involved. “When we make decisions,” says Tracy, “we always ask: What is needed to ensure that everyone can sleep easy at night?” I have found that’s a good measure of what level of care and what type services are needed.
