Fireworks Over The Water Celebrate Independence Day “Fireworks Over the Water” is a long-held tradition provided by our Chamber of Commerce and its supporters. The 4th of July celebration is displayed over the lake, which draws large numbers of people along the shorelines, parks, picnic areas and boats on the water. Join us on Saturday, July 1st this year to watch the brilliant and dazzling colors of our professional display. Spend the entire holiday weekend at Pomme de Terre Lake and enjoy the sort of vacation that dreams and grand memories are made of; don’t forget your camera! “Ozark Market Day”, sponsored by the Hermitage Lions Club, is always on the same day as the “Fireworks Over the Water” weekend. Crafters and other vendors take ���������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������� crafts, along with a parade and fun activities for children of all ages. While some of you will take in our colorful spectacular under the stars on the shore near the dam, others will also have a great vantage from their private water craft. We encourage you to take all safety precautions while boating during the darkness.
