The art of quilting, sewing and embroidery took part mainly at home during the 60s. People started sewing clothes together, incorporating patches and much more during this time. During the 50s and 60s the love of quilting was not being expressed as much due to the advancements in technology. It was not until mid-60s that quilts started to become collectables. This was also the time frame of more recognition towards traditional Amish Quilts, which slowly started to turn the love around! HAPPINESS AT HOME WHERE WAS THE LOVE?
