Since the 80s increased the use of computers and better digitizing formats, companies now have the capability to set up different machine formats for design files. This allows for more specifics within the digitizing of embroidery as well as the capabilities of editing embroidery designs from home! During this time frame, companies have been able to release smaller home versions of embroidery machines making it easier to bring the love home once again. Although quilting production has changed through the years, the love of the art is still with us. Since technology has grown, companies like our own, Anita Goodesign, have been able to create particular digitizing steps to take the guess work out of quilting. Creating embroidered quilt tops completely in the hoop has never been easier! Just wait to see what will happen over the next couple decades.
