Mark & Robin Frohlich Founders Of Sassy Bass Amazin’ Grille, Sassy Bass Caribbean Grill, Sassy Bass Island Grill and Sassy Bass Crazy Donuts. Mark & Robin Frohlich have their hands full, and they are loving it! Instead of just relaxing and “taking it easy” after their youngest of 5 daughters finished school, they decided to “head south” and start a brand new business – a business that is in full blossom now! “We were seeking business opportunities near the beach with the great weather and the friendliest people anywhere” they both agreed. Today, those initial “opportunities” have flourished into Sassy Bass Amazin’ Grill, Sassy Bass Caribbean Grill, Bass Island Grill and Sassy Bass Crazy Donuts. Having your hands full was nothing new to either Mark or Robin, though. At the age of 19, Mark was running not just one – but nine - 24-hour coffee shops. Fast forward to the present day, where he has opened over 1,000 food concepts locations. Robin herself has spent over 25 in the Human Resources field as well as managing the décor/design, social media, guest liaison and controlling the financials of the business. Now that their multi-faceted operations are running smoothly, the “Five Year Plan” for Mark and Robin is to “Continue to build Sassy Bass into a premiere brand and strive to become one of the best companies to work for.” The overall philosophy of their continued success for the couple is simple but powerful – “In all human affairs there are efforts and there are results. The strength of the effort is the measure of the results.” Mark and Robin have a very strong faith-based philosophy and enjoy giving back to the community, sponsoring an annual Autism Awareness event at Fort Morgan. Their favorite hobbies are golfing, racquetball, boating, biking, gardening and travel. They are blessed with their five daughters and 6 grandchildren. 57
