Then, cut two small squares measuring 2 7/8” x 2 7/8” from the bottom corners of the large rectangle. These are shown using a dotted line. Cut two additional 10.0” x 14.0” rectangles using the lining fabric. These will be used to create the pocket inside your tote bag. Place the two pocket pieces on top of each other, right sides together, and pin in place. Note: the pocket pictures are enlarged for instructional purposes. Using the 3.0” opening, flip the pocket right side out and press flat. Then fold the pocket in half and press once again as shown.
