steps CREATING A HAND STITCHED PILLOW g h Place the bottom right corner onto the sticky back stabilizer, lining up the edges with the lines created in Step E. 27 Heirloom Christmas | 2017 Q3 Workshop In order to find the center point of the fabric, fold the fabric in half, right sides together, and press in place. Continue folding the fabric in half, right sides together, once again and pressing in place. Do not unfold the base pillow fabric yet. i j Now carefully unfold the pillow front fabric, long ways first, lining it up with the center point lines drawn on stabilizer. k l Depending on the texture of your front pillow fabric, place a piece of topping over embroidery surface before beginning to run the machine steps of the design. Continue unfolding the front pillow fabric as shown. Smooth out fabric to remove any wrinkles and adhere the fabric to sticky surface. Insert your hoop into your embroidery machine and run the embroidery steps of the design.
